This engine produces a broad torque curve to make the Yaris more responsive in everyday driving conditions. This engine can go from zero to 60 in 9.5 seconds when it is equipped with the manual transmission. You can have a four-speed automatic or a five-speed manual transmission. The fuel economy for the manual is 33 mpg combined making it 30 mpg in the city and 37 mpg on the highway. The fuel economy for the automatic is only a little different at 32 mpg combined making it 30 mpg in the city and 36 mpg on the highway.

There are a few options with this subcompact hatchback. You can get it with either two-door or four-door. The trim levels L and LE can be two- or four-door, while the SE can have four-doors. A five-speed transmission is offered on the 2 door L and 4 door SE with an option to make it automatic. The automatic transmission is standard on the rest of the models. The L has features like 15-inch steel wheels, automatic headlights and high-beam control, power door locks and windows, lane departure warning, forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking, a height-adjustable driver seat, Bluetooth, a 6.1-inch touchscreen, and a six-speaker sound system with a CD player, HD radio and a USB port. The LE has features like 15-inch alloy wheels, power side mirrors, remote locking and unlocking, cruise control, enhanced interior trim and steering-wheel-mounted audio controls. The top level trim SE has features like 16-inch alloy wheels, projector-beam headlights, LED running lights, foglights, special exterior styling elements, four-wheel disc brakes, a leather-trimmed steering wheel and upgraded cloth upholstery.

What is the warranty on the 2017 Toyota Yaris?

Toyota's 36-month/36,000 mile basic new-car warranty applies to all components other than normal wear and maintenance items. Additional 60-month warranties cover the power-train for 60,000 miles and against corrosion with no mileage limitation. The Yaris also comes standard with Toyota Care, a complimentary plan covering normal factory-scheduled maintenance and 24-hour roadside assistance for two years or 25,000 miles, whichever comes first.
