Toyota Prius
The Toyota Prius features a four-door hatchback body and can seat up to five people. The car's hybrid power train features a small 1.8 Liter Atkinson-cycle-4 cylinder engine with 98 horsepower, 105 pound-feet of torque at 5,200 rams per minute (RPM), combining the hybrid system with its electric motor, it generates 134 net horsepower. The result is adequate power, high fuel economy and reduced tailpipe emissions.
The Prius offers four driving modes that give you a unique driving experience every-time you get behind the wheel; this combination gives the driver more control over the vehicles fuel consumption and throttle response. The Prius has the “Normal” mode; the “EV” mode is for low-speed electric-only power; “Eco” mode is for slower throttle responses to increase fuel efficiency in normal highway driving; “Power” mode is to increase the Prius' performance with more power for passing and merging into higher-speed traffic.
