Ben and I met up around 7:30AM and drove to Wharton State Forest (AKA The Pine Barrens) in New Jersey. My Dad came with me to keep me company and enjoy the Off-Road fun. We arrived around 9:30AM and joined up with our guide, Gordon (nick name: Red Rover) and the FJ Bruisers.

The trails were mostly sand with a bunch of muddy puddles. Some were very deep.

There were go-arounds to bypass the deep puddles if you choose to.

We found a really fun hill. I don't think I could have made it up if it were raining.

I climbed in Ben's yellow FJ Cruiser to ride along down and back up the hill.

This trip was a great time. Almost everybody got stuck once or twice.

The Pine Barrens is a real challange. Its also a beautiful piece of nature. I wish it were a lot closer to home, so I could visit it every week.
